Marrakech - The Ultimate Travel Guide

must-see sights, best stays, authentic cuisine & mindful approach

From the call of the medina to the colors of the souks and the smell of spices in the air, Marrakech feels alive in a way few cities do.

Marrakech had been on my bucket list for so many years. From the moment I arrived, everything felt different, the colours, the sounds, the scents, the rhythm of everyday life. It was a place full of contrasts, quiet riads hidden behind busy streets, centuries-old traditions alongside modern creativity, and endless little details waiting to be noticed.

This trip brought so many new experiences, cultural discoveries and moments I’ll definitely remember for years to come. From getting lost in the medina’s streets (quite literally) and watching artisans practice generations-old crafts like creating jewelry, leather goods and ceramics by hand, to finding hidden cafés, beautiful stays, and glimpses into the traditions and rhythms of daily life, every day in Marrakech offered something new to discover.

I had been planning this trip for a long time, carefully collecting places I wanted to see, experiences I wanted to have and details I knew would make the journey more meaningful. While creating my photographs, notes, and memories along the way, I realised I wanted to bring everything together into one place, not just a list of recommendations, but a thoughtful collection of everything I learned and experienced.

That’s how the Marrakech Guide was created, thoughtfully curated, beautifully designed and made to inspire and help you experience Marrakech beyond the typical highlights, with a slower and more mindful approach.

Inside, you’ll find handpicked stays, cafés, restaurants, hidden gems, local favourites, practical travel tips and things you’ll wish you knew before your visit, cultural insights, and moments worth slowing down for.

This guide also goes beyond where to eat and what to see. Marrakech is a destination with a rich culture, unique customs and a completely different rhythm of life. Inside you’ll find insights into local traditions, everyday experiences, how to navigate the city respectfully, what to be mindful of, common scams to look out for, and tips to help you become a more conscious traveller. Designed for your phone, so it’s always with you while you wander.

Whether you’re planning your trip or already exploring the streets of Marrakech, this guide is here to help you travel more intentionally, discover places you might have otherwise missed and experience the destination with more curiosity and respect.
