Tapas Fino - Authentic Spanish Flavours in the heart of Budapest
There’s no doubt one of the best parts of Budapest is walking along the riverside, especially when the weather is beautiful and it’s golden hour. You want a good cocktail, amazing food, and a spot with a relaxed atmosphere and I know exactly where to go. As a big fan of Mediterranean flavours, I visited Tapas Fino - right next to Hotel Vision Budapest - multiple times when I lived in the city, and it has never disappointed.
The menu is packed with classic Spanish dishes, but my personal favorites are the gambas al ajillo, aubergine croquetas, and their patatas bravas in Fino style. The cocktails are also amazing, and for dessert, a crema catalana or some churros is a must-have. The dishes are perfect for a friends’ night out to share flavors like the Spanish do, or also for a romantic date night. Every bite is full of authentic flavour and made with care. The waiters are attentive and kind, which makes the experience even better.
Tapas Fino is particularly magical at sunset, with the Danube right outside and a lively yet cozy atmosphere inside. Brunch is also available, and the restaurant often hosts live music, adding extra charm to your visit. Oh, and it is also a dog friendly restaurant!
